The Youth Olympic Flame will arrive in Singapore
on the 7th of August. On its second day in Singapore,
it will begin its journey in St Andrew's Village where
the torch will be lit. It will be lit using the flame from
a lantern. This lantern is used to transport the flame
from continent to continent and in the nights when it
is 'resting'.
From SAV it will travel to St Patrick's School
and finally finishing the day at ITE College East.
The flame will them be transferred into the lantern
to be kept overnight.
The ceremony will be on 8th August 2010, 8am to 10am
at St Andrew's Village and SM Prof S. Jayakumar
will grace the occasion as the Guest-of-Honour.
